Valentine Service Project

for Cornerstone Widows and Seniors Staying at Home

"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."

I Corinthians 13:13

The Cornerstone Women’s Ministry needs volunteers on Saturday, February 13 at 10:30am to assemble Valentine’s Day gift packages in the Coffee Corner. The church will provide some devotional material, notebooks and pads but we ask volunteers to bring themed treats & gifts, baked goods, and other useful items that can be included. Additionally, our Cornerstone Kids will be making Valentine Cards to be included in the packages to show their love! The gifts will be given to our widows who are in attendance on Sunday, February 14 and then after church we will deliver packages to our seniors staying at home.

This is going to be an awesome time of fellowship for those making the packages and a fantastic way for our church to live out 1 Corinthians 13:13 and show our widows and other seniors staying at home, our genuine, heartfelt love. They will be able to enjoy their gifts, knowing that others are thinking of them, praying for them , and reaching out to them!

If you are interested in donating items, helping assemble packages or deliver the packages please text “love” to 334-245-3341 or contact the church office at 983-1848 and ask for Stephanie.
