what are freedom groups?

Freedom is a 12-week study that meets weekly to discuss the Freedom curriculum, which is designed to give you tools to grow your faith and equip you to live your best life! Freedom builds on the foundation of your faith in Christ to help you embrace the truth of God’s Word as it relates to your worldview, your past, your sin, your personal value to God, and your purpose in His Kingdom. This group will help you learn how to deal with the past and move forward in the freedom Christ has provided.

The Freedom Curriculum focuses on six areas of personal growth:

  1. Living in the "Tree of Life"
  2. Walking in the Spirit
  3. Surrending to Jesus
  4. Speaking Words of Life
  5. Becoming a Vessel God Can Use
  6. Living as a Worshipper

The semester ends with a powerful two day Freedom Conference that focuses on solidifying what you learned in Freedom by helping you take the next steps to overcome your past and lay a foundation for walking in daily freedom.

Our first Freedom small group will be led by Tommy and Allison Moody and will meet in their home on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm beginning February 24. The workbook is free, and the group will attend the Freedom Conference on Friday, May 14 and Saturday, May 15 at Harvest Church in Dothan. The cost of the conference is $45 per person, which is due by Friday, April 30.
